Great location in the heart of the St Germaine district. Hotel staff are very helpful and knowledgeable about things to do and places to visit, where to get reserve tickets etc. Rooms are quite comfortable and spotlessly clean. Not the cheapest place to stay but still competitive to similar Hotels of this class in Paris. Some great restaurants & Cafes nearby.
This hotel was perfectly located in the heart of Saint-Germain. The staff was incredibly friendly and the rooms were impeccably clean. Do not expect large rooms because you just won't find them anywhere in Paris (at least not at this price). If your primary concerns are location, cleanliness, and staff, then seriously give this charming hotel your consideration. We will book here again when we return.
The staff here were very friendly and helpful in tracking down train schedules, opening hours, and other tourist information. The rooms are quite small (e.g. in our room the toilet door couldn't be opened without bumping into the bed) but the location is super.
The front desk staff were exceptionally helpful, provided clear directions (in English) and anticipated our needs. The hotel is a boutique type hotel, very quaint and very clean, modern bathroom. Location near the Odeon metro station was very convenient, we walked to the Eiffel Tower, Champs Elysee, Louvre, etc.
our room was very small, like most Paris hotels.
Location was excelent for getting around Paris.
Changing period of stay.
Louis II is a perfect blend of hospitality and comfort. Every detail, from helping me set up wifi to recommending local events was given with every attention and care. I cannot compliment the staff enough who greeted me every morning by name. I breakfasted twice, a buffet set with delicious and filling food. Boiled eggs, yoghurt, cereal, toast, croissants, jams, juice and a large pot of coffee will set you up for any day in Paris. My room and indeed the hotel was spotless, comfortable and wonderfully charming and I enjoyed sleeping with the window ajar hearing the sounds of the city going to sleep and waking. Location is ideal with easy walking to the sites of Paris and the RER/Metro. Will certainly return.
The position in Paris is extremely convenient
The room we stayed in was very small
Attentive and courteous staff eager to help. The Hotel is in the perfect location right on the corner at Carrefour de l'Odéon.
the hotel is located south of the Seine river, 2 min walk from metro station, 7-10 min walk from the lovely Luxemburg gardens, the Luvre, Notredame. hotel staff was very courteous and assisting. the room, though small as accustomed in Paris, was very clean, nicely decorated and newly equiped with TV, mini bar, bath tab and air conditioning. as we ordered we recieved a very larg baby cot.
small rooms and expensive breakfast, though as mentioned above both are customary in Paris.
Very quaint with lots of style and character. Staff were extremely helpful assisting with all enquiries in the most generous manner.Rooms were cleaned extremely well each day. Fantastic location.Great restaurants at your doorstep...no need to look any further.
Rooms are small but with it to soak in the character and charm.
Perfectly located, great vibe in the area, very helpful staff, 24 hour staffed reception and although the rooms are small they are extremely comfortable. Highly recommend.
Fabulous location! perfect little hotel in the centre of the 6th, my favourite area in Paris. Terrific staff with excellent English and impeccable manners. Room was perfect for our needs. Did not eat here but all in all a fabulous stay - would definitely use again!
The area is nice. You are in a middle of the entertainment district, but not a one for tourists or yongster's, but one for solid 'middle class' going out. It means you have a big choice of restaurants, and good ones, full with locals. If you want to challenge yourself with real french food - there is plenty of choice. If you want to treat yourself with a breakfast in a famous cafe - go to the boulevard and sit at the table that was persumably loved by Hemingway. It is also 3 minutes walk from the metro, which is 15 min direct ride to Gare du Nord.
It may be noisy, escpecially if you are not accustomed to be in a center of a big city. Airconditioning works fine, but do not even think about sleeping with the open windows. The metro exit has many stairs - if you travel with heavy luggage consider some sporting, or take a taxi.
Well located in Paris with excellent friendly staff. Rooms were well appointed and comfortable. The bed was excellent.
clean, calm, with an elevator, nice stuff, good Internet connection, excellent location, nice view from the window
no kettle in the room, no plastic bag in the garbage can, not enough space in the room, no English channels on TV Also: beware, you have to cancel your reservation 3 days in advance, otherwise they take the entire amount due for your stay
